Hernia Belt / Truss (Umbilical Navel)
The umbilical hernia belt provides relief when part of the intestine protrudes through an opening in your abdominal muscles. The belt provides significant relief from abdominal pain associated with an umbilical hernia. Foam pad adds rigidity, padding, and provides a non-elastic zone that helps to direct compression on the hernia. Cotton/elastic blend provides breathable, comfortable support. Dual Velcro strips ensure positive closure and adjustment. Measures 6" wide. Available in size small to xxx-large.
Measure around abdomen (belly) for a proper fit. The belt is intended to fit tight and provide compression.
Infant / Child Umbilical Hernia Truss
An umbilical hernia refers to a condition found most commonly in newborns, though it can also occur in adults. It’s estimated that as many as 20% of newborns may have umbilical hernias. With this particular type of hernia, part of the intestine, usually right near the belly button, is able to extrude out past the stomach muscles. In newborns and young children, you may notice a rounded bump poking out from the stomach, especially when babies use their stomach muscles for stretching, crying or having a bowel movement. This pediatric umbilical truss is designed to provide relief to infants suffering from an umbilical hernia. A soft foam pad adds cushion and provides a non-elastic zone that helps to direct compression on the hernia. Velcro fastener for easy on and off.

Sizing recommendation: If your child's abdomen measures within 1 to 2 inches of the highest width range, we suggest you order one size up. For example, if your child's abdomen measures 19" or 20", which is the top range of the medium belt (16"-20"), we suggest the large (20"-24").
